I am so deeply saddened of the passing of Shirley. Her unwavering gift to bring nothing but good to the world has inspired and touched so many of us. I am so grateful to have had such memorable encounters with Shirley in connection with the great legacy she and her husband David created, The Elizabeth Foundation. Together their vision has allowed so many children and families incredible hope and light. Shirley knew how to listen and she also knew that every deaf person can listen. I shall certainly be listening to Shirley's spirit and draw upon her unwavering love and dedication. All my love, thanks and thinking so much of Shirley's family at this time. Evelyn
