We have all lost an amazing woman. Shirley was a leader in every sense and a champion for the deaf community. She had passion, empathy and the knowledge of a mother. She was the driving force behind the creation of The Elizabeth Foundation with the help of a small number of dedicated parents of deaf children. This task was not easy and there were many hurdles to over come but Shirley never wavered. A remarkably lady that has left a lifelong legacy in the Foundation for generations to come. Rest in peace Shirley and condolences to Dave and all your family.
