I am so grateful to Shirley and David for making The Elizabeth Foundation happen. My family came along in 2003 with our newly diagnosed newborn son. Shirley on more than one occasion took me a side and had a chat with me. Shirley offered the most genuine, knowing of ears as another Mother. Her guidance was invaluable in helping my son and I to bond. I am so very sorry for Shirley and all her wonderful family. My love to Dave and everyone who had the wonderful opportunity to have known her. Shirley's funeral falls on Dillon's 18th birthday. We shall raise a glass to remember and thank Shirley for all she did for our family x
